1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website or application stores on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit or use it. Their function is to remember your preferences and activity in order to improve your experience.
In addition to cookies proper, there are other similar local storage technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage or session tokens, which are also covered by this policy.
2. Davoxly mobile app (iOS and Android)
The Davoxly mobile app does not use cookies in the traditional sense (browser text files), as it is a native application that does not run in a web browser.
However, the app uses the following local storage technologies:
| Technology | Purpose | Duration | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Authentication token (Expo SecureStore / localStorage) | Maintain the user's logged-in session between uses of the app, avoiding the need to enter credentials every time | Until logout or token expiry | Legitimate interest / contract performance |

This data is stored securely and locally on your device and is never accessible to other websites or applications.
